As far as performance goes, the 2026 Subaru Crosstrek will see a new 2.5-liter Atkinson/Miller-cycle Subaru BOXER engine. The 2026 Subaru Crosstrek offers 194 horsepower. This engine pairs with a continuously variable transmission. The Subaru Crosstrek also comes with Subaru Symmetrical all-wheel drive, X-MODE with hill descent control, and 8.7-inches of ground clearance.

The 2026 Subaru Crosstrek manages a host of impressive tech upgrades, with the entry-level Crosstrek trim set to come standard with a tablet-style Subaru Starlink 11.6-inch touchscreen display. Additionally, the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid will include wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. Beyond the above-mentioned, the 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is set to include Bluetooth connectivity, AM/FM stereo, a rear vision camera, an HD Radio, and SiriusXM all-access Radio with SiriusXM Travel Link (4-month free Platinum Plan).

For the 2026 model year, the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is set to offer two new exterior colors. The 2026 model year offers the new Sand Dune Pearl and Citron Yellow Pearl.
