2014's been an exciting year in the world of rally racing. Rally racing, for those new to the sport, consists of rear cars racing on terrain that's usually a bit challenging and usually unpaved. Rally racing takes place through a variety of conditions such as snow and rain, and they can take place for days--and nights. Some may consider this to be quite extreme.
Well, all new Subaru vehicles are ready for the extreme, and we've seen professional drivers and co-drivers take on courses in Missouri, Oregon, and Pennsylvania so far. The latest rally, the STPR Rally, which took place May 30-31, will air on Saturday, June 28 at 8 p.m. EDT. The next event will be at Mt. Washington form June 27-29 in Gorham, NH.
For a bit of the action, we've included a video of the Oregon Trail Rally for your viewing pleasure. This event took place in early May.
For more rally racing clips and news, be sure to see the other episodes of "Launch Control." As for the vehicles that push through the thick and the thin to make it past these difficult courses, stop by Cross Creek Subaru in Fayetteville, NC, and we'll be here to answer any questions you have.
