Cross Creek Subaru Welcomes the 2027 WRX GD25 and BRZ ZC15: Limited-Edition Anniversary Sports Cars

Enthusiasts, take note. At Boxerfest 2026 in York, Pennsylvania, Subaru unveiled two limited-production anniversary editions: the 2027 Subaru WRX GD25 and the 2027 Subaru BRZ ZC15. Each honors the chassis code of its model’s U.S. debut, 25 years ago for the WRX and 15 years ago for the BRZ, with heritage-inspired colors and performance accessories. Production is limited to 350 WRX GD25 units and 300 BRZ ZC15 units, and reservations begin in 2026.

2027 Subaru WRX GD25: A Tribute to the Original

The WRX arrived in the U.S. in 2002 on a chassis codenamed “GD,” and the GD25 celebrates that first edition.

Exterior and performance

  • Painted exclusively in World Rally Blue
  • Gold-painted 19-inch alloy wheels
  • Uprated Brembo brakes with gold-painted calipers
  • Bridgestone Potenza S007 high-performance tires
  • Dry carbon fiber swan-neck rear wing from Subaru Tecnica International, the same component used on Travis Pastrana’s WRX ARA25L rally car
  • Flexible strut tower bar for added rigidity
  • Performance-tuned suspension with stiffer springs and revised damping calibration for more composed, confident cornering

2027 Subaru BRZ ZC15: Rear-Wheel-Drive Heritage

The BRZ ZC15 pays tribute to the first-generation BRZ, which arrived in 2012 on a chassis codenamed “ZC.”

Exterior

  • Painted exclusively in Ceramic White, a color exclusive to the ZC15
  • Matte bronze wheels
  • Gold-painted Brembo calipers
  • Unique bronze decals near the side sills
  • Black decklid spoiler
  • Flexible V-bar under the hood

The white-on-bronze scheme is an homage to the 2020 Subaru BRZ tS models, which featured the same look.

  • Black leather-appointed upholstery with Bordeaux red inserts not shared with the rest of the BRZ lineup
  • Unique “ZC15” anniversary edition plaque
  • STI aluminum and leather short shifter
